1. In this contents page there’s just in large picture used which almost dominates the whole page.
2. The page is structures so that the woman photographed is laying on the ground with her legs in the air, almost looking like an upside down L shape with the text on the right hand side of the page including page numbers. It has a contents title, In the background there’s a V representing the name of the magazine ‘Vibe’ There are only two sub titles
3. The woman photographed is a black American woman probably around her mid twenties who’s an R&B singer.
4. The only two things that mainly stand out in this contents page is the picture and the name contents which is in large font, the text is very small the sub headings are a bit bigger but still quite small and the space between the contents title/name and the text under that is also quite small the percentage of text would be 20% and the picture 80%
1. This magazine contents page is quite different from the last because of the number of pictures used, in this one compared to the last one, there are now four. Three of the same size and one a bit larger which would be the main image.
2. The page is structured in a way that it doesn’t waste a lot of space with the pictures there’s two sub titles and a title. The ‘no.1’ has a list of text (Text columns) underneath with page numbers, which are also quite small similar to the previous contents page. It has a contents title which a lot smaller than the last, and underneath where the contents title is it has 3 pictures next to one another same size with text underneath so there’s more variety of pictures. Then there’s a picture on the left hand side with more text in text columns.
3. In the photographs there’s two women and two men. One of the men are black and is in his early thirties musical genre would be rapping, the other person looks slightly younger around his mid twenties and is a white male looks like a rock artist. As for the girls one is white still very young around early twenties looks very country like she writes her own music; Mid twenties for the other woman who is also black whose an R&B singer.
4. There’s a lot of text not many pictures, the text looks very small compared to the pictures. The space between the pictures and the texts are quite small the contents page looks quite squashed with loads of text only separated by some lines The percentage of pictures would be 40% and text 60%.
1. The numbers of pictures used in this contents page are more than the last there are 6 instead of four.
2. The structure of the contents page is quite similar to the last one but opposite in the way that the pictures dominate the page rather than the text. There’s a main image of a drummer and other small images around the page, on the left hand side is the column of text with page numbers, there are subtitles, regular categories quite a larger masthead compared to the previous contents page but similar to the first.
3. The people photographed are all male except for one who is female, their all into music, rock and bands etc…Their all white and the music genre which is rock, which is quite a big genre difference comparing them to the other contents pages.
1. Only three pictures are used in this contents page very different from the last two contents pages but similar to the first.
2. The page is structured in a way where it has sub titles, sib lines page numbers as well as a main image, a small, masthead, columns of texts and an issue date.
3. In this music contents page they don’t jus focus on music there’s sports and so on the main image is of a young white teenage football group. Very different from the other contents pages because they had adults in there. Their all male and are probably into clubbing and pop because their picture is in a contents page where its surrounded by sub titles about clubbing and pop music and DJ’s and so on, the other pictures are of people clubbing and singing.
4. There’s a lot of numbers and text involved in this contents page all this information is slammed onto one page it looks busy but appealing to read at the same time because of the colours and size of writing used. Space dedicated to the pictures would be 20% and the text 80%
